Donation Cause
To raise money to upfit the fire department’s new utility task vehicle (UTV). The UTV is used for wildland fires and as a medical unit for special events or isolated rescues.
It was purchased through a Prairie Meadows Community Betterment Grant that IFD was awarded in 2025.
"Funds raised from this event will help equip the UTV with emergency lights and sirens, a firefighting and medical skid unit, patient loading and transport features and other mission‑critical tools,” said Indianola Fire EMS Captain Aaron Payette. “Upfitting this vehicle is essential so we can safely provide rapid, lifesaving service wherever and whenever our community needs us, especially in the areas that our standard ambulances and fire trucks cannot reach.”
