    Come to Buxton Park and discover more about monarch butterflies, their unusual lifestyle and life cycle and their miraculous migration to Mexico. A Warren County Conservation Naturalist will teach you how to catch and handle a monarch, determine gender, and properly tag them in the wild as part of a national research project. All monarchs will be released after they are tagged. Bring a butterfly net if you have one, or share a park net if you don’t.

    Whether you're chasing your personal best, walking with a group of friends, or the whole family will be participating, here's your chance to celebrate the great outdoors this fall. You'll also be assisting families in need, because proceeds from this event will be donated to the Helping Hand of Warren County. You choose the place, the time, and your favorite people to do this Virtual Run! You can complete it in your own neighborhood, at a local park, or on the trails. You can even take it in smaller chunks if that works best for you! Sign up and gather your tribe, decide on a route, and plan your post-run party. After you complete your 5K, share your accomplishment and the good you've done by posting pictures to social media.
