The Indianola City Council met for a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 17. The meeting can be viewed on the City’s YouTube channel.
Among the items that Council approved during the regular meeting were:
- Resolution naming depositories and setting depository limits.
- Resolution approving the City of Indianola Investment Policy.
- Resolution designating Highway 92 (Mile Marker 107 to Mile Marker 130) as the “George W. Carver Memorial Highway” in honor of his contributions to the State of Iowa and the communities of Indianola and Winterset.
- Resolution approving Brush Facility Services for 2026.

- March 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. on a proposal to enter into a First Amendment to the Agreement for Private Development with Sunstone Investments, LLC.
- March 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. on a proposed Amendment No. 9 to the Hillcrest/Downtown Unified Urban Renewal Plan in the City of Indianola, State of Iowa
- March 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. on bid letting dates for the South C Street Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project.
