[ARCHIVED] Recap: Indianola City Council Meets May 19

UPDATE (Tuesday, May 20, 2025): The Indianola City Council met for a regular meeting on Monday, May 19, followed by a study session. Both meetings can be viewed at the City of Indianola's YouTube channel.

Among the items that Council approved in the regular meeting were:

  • Amendment Number 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with HR Green, Inc for the Iowa Avenue Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project.
  • The appointment of Travis Bell to the Civil Service Commission.
  • The second amendment to the Fiscal Year 25 budget.
  • The final plat for Emerald Bay Plat 2.

Following the meeting, the Council met in study session to discuss city manager goals and fuel storage tanks.

The next Council meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, June 2. The meeting will be open to the public and held in the Council Chambers at Indianola City Hall. A livestream will also be available.

The Indianola City Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 19, followed by a study session.

The meetings are open to the public and will be held in the Council Chambers at Indianola City Hall, located at 110 N 1st Street, Indianola, IA 50125. 

A livestream will also be available through the City of Indianola's YouTube channel.
