UPDATE (Monday, May 5, 2025): The Indianola City Council met for a regular meeting on Monday, May 5. It can be viewed at the City of Indianola's YouTube channel.
Among the items that Council approved in the regular meeting were:
- An event application for the Indianola Chamber of Commerce's Dads Rock Festival.
- An engineering agreement with Snyder and Associates for traffic signal timing updates on Hwys 92 and 65/69.
- Payment Application Number 2 and Change Order Number 2 for the North N Street Storm Sewer Repairs Project.
- A resolution approving final plat for Simpson Athletics Plat 1.
- A resolution approving a site plan for Simpson Athletics Training/Competition Facility.

During the meeting, Mayor Pro Team Steve Armstrong proclaimed the month of May as “Employee Recognition Month” in Indianola, encouraging all citizens to show support and appreciation to our public servants who work tirelessly to provide services required and expected by the public. Following the meeting, the Council met in study session to discuss truck routes in Indianola.
The next Council meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, May 19. It meeting will be open to the public and held held in the Council Chambers at Indianola City Hall. A livestream will also be available.

The Indianola City Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 5, followed by a study session.
