[ARCHIVED] Indianola City Council Meets February 3

The Indianola City Council met for a regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 3. It can be viewed at the City's YouTube channel.

Among the items the Council approved were:

  • Representation to the Mid-Iowa Planning Alliance for Community Development.
  • Payment Applications for the East Hillcrest Avenue Reconstruction Project and the Traffic Signal Improvements at South Buxton Street and West 2nd Avenue.
  • Brush Facility services for 2025.
  • Appointments to serve on the Indianola Public Arts Commission.

Additionally, Mayor Pro Tem Steve Armstrong proclaimed Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, as "Chris Street Day" in the City of Indianola, urging citizens to celebrate and remember Indianola’s basketball legend on what would have been his 53rd birthday. Read full proclamation

ORIGINAL POST (Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025): The Indianola City Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3

The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the Council Chambers at Indianola City Hall, located at 110 N 1st Street, Indianola, IA 50125. 

They will also be available via livestream through the City of Indianola's YouTube channel.
