[ARCHIVED] Learn More About Indianola Parks and Open Space Master Plan at March 6 Open House

Indianola Parks & Open Space Open House on March 6, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at Indianola Activity Center

The City of Indianola, in partnership with MSA Professional Services, will host an open house on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, for the public to learn more about the Indianola Parks and Open Space Master Plan. The event is from 5-7 p.m. at the Indianola Activity Center, located at 2204 W 2nd Avenue.

The community's valuable input from the public survey that was conducted last summer contributed to the development of this plan. At the open house March 6, attendees can witness their involvement and collective vision that will shape the future expansion of parks and open spaces across Indianola.

Shannon Gapp of MSA presented the Indianola Parks and Open Space Master Plan to the Indianola City Council during its study session Tuesday, February 20. She discussed the project process and highlights, the plan components and the proposed action plan. Watch a replay of the presentation.

For more information about the open house on March 6, please contact the Indianola Parks & Recreation Department at 515-961-9420 or email parkrec@indianolaiowa.gov.
