The City of Indianola, in partnership with City Engineer Snyder & Associates, Inc. and the Iowa Department of Transportation, invites community members to attend a public open house for the Highway 92 Access Management Study.
The event will take place on Tuesday, November 18, from 6-8 p.m. at the Indianola Activity Center, located at 2204 W 2nd Avenue in Indianola.
This study is being conducted in response to recent changes in the DOT’s administrative rules, which now limit access to state highways. As a result, the groups are working together to identify and formalize future access points along Highway 92 from 15th Street to 170th Avenue.
At the open house, attendees can:
- Review preliminary access concepts.
- Ask questions directly to project staff.
- Share your feedback to help shape the final plan.
