[ARCHIVED] RECAP: Indianola City Council Meets March 3, 2025

UPDATE: The Indianola City Council met for a regular meeting on Monday, March 3, followed by a study session.

The meeting can be viewed at City of Indianola's YouTube channel.

Among the items Council approved in the meeting were:

  • A special event permit for the Indianola First Assembly Youth for the Indianola Neighborhood dash race event on April 26, 2025.
  • A special event permit to the Indianola Elks Lodge for Treads for a Cause Pink Ride event to be held on April 19, 2025.
  • The appointment of Matt Garrett to the Parks & Recreation Commission for a term effective immediately and ending July 1, 2027.
  • Resolution providing for notice of intent to fill council vacancy by appointment.

The next regular council meeting will be on Monday, March 24, 2025.


ORIGINAL POST: The Indianola City Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 3, followed by a study session.

Both meetings are open to the public and will be held in the Council Chambers at Indianola City Hall, located at 110 N 1st Street, Indianola, IA 50125. 

They will also be available via livestream through the City of Indianola's YouTube channel.
