The library provides free book selection and delivery to our home-bound patrons.
This service has been temporarily discontinued. We’re looking forward to resuming it soon.
Home-Bound Delivery Service
Home-bound Delivery is reserved for those people, living within the corporate city limits of Indianola, who are unable to come to the library on their own due to a disability, either long- or short-term. Each patron will receive hand-picked books from the same staff member and delivery volunteer each month. Books are delivered to patrons once a month by library volunteers.
Contact the library by calling us at 515-961-9418, and ask to speak to a staff member about home-bound delivery. A librarian will take your information including address, contact information, schedule preferences, and book preferences.
