Are your cats tired of the day-to-day reigning of your home and want to be someone else for the day? (Think Feline Dion, Justin Tim-purr-lake, or the Cheshire Cat!) Would your pup make the perfect Mr. Bone Jangles, Doggie Popkins, or Hair-y Potter? Dust off your creativity and enter your fur baby in our virtual costume contest. It’s all from the comfort of your own home, at the time that works best for you! Simply take a picture of your pet in costume and share it within the discussion in our FaceBook event by Friday, October 23. Then share, share, share with your friends and family, because the dogs and cats with the most positive comments/likes by 9:00 am on Friday, October 30, will win some fur-tastic prizes! Sponsored by All Creatures Small, Indianola Veterinary Clinic, and Kindness Pet Clinic.

  3. Tails on Trails Virtual 10K Dog Walk

    October 19, 2020, All Day

Your furry friend has put on a lot of miles with you over the past few months, and we want to give them a chance to earn their own medal in our first “Tails on Trails 10K”. That’s 6.2 miles that you and your pet will have to accomplish this fall. Do it in one day, or split it up if their little legs can’t make it all at once. There is no tracking sheet to fill in, we just ask for a picture of the participants be emailed to once the 10K is completed. Please register your dog under your name and you will have an option to include the number of dogs participating by changing the "number of seats". Fee is per dog, with proceeds going to Kiya Koda Humane Society. Optional: Have your medal(s) mailed to your home for an additional $4 per medal.
