    The inside lanes of North Jefferson Way will be closed from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 30, for maintenance to the entry medians. The lane closures begin south of Hillcrest Avenue and continue north approximately 0.8 mile. Please use caution.

  2. Beginning Quilting

    Learn the basics of quilting as you create your own throw size quilt. Topics include fabric choices, cutting and piecing techniques, and options for finishing the quilt top. Participants need to bring their own sewing machine and have knowledge of how to use it, and also must bring their own supplies. Cindy Butler and Lisa Butler-Msuya are a mother-daughter duo who have been making quilts for their business, Binding Hearts Quilting, and for their family and friends for over 30 years.

    Whether you want to grow veggies in containers on your deck or turn a corner of your yard into a place to grow vegetables, this class will help you get started. Instruction will cover soil preparation, planning your garden, planting, and harvesting your produce. There will also be tips on maintaining your garden and keeping out the critters. Instructors Royce and Sue Thompson are Master Gardeners who have been gardening together for over 40 years.
