    In this class, students will learn the basics of animation and digital design. Students who enjoy going to various sites to see fun interactive animations will love this course. They will create fun interactive animations that they can share with the world. Youth Tech Inc. is an interactive computer camp that focuses on providing enrichment opportunities to students in the world of computers.   3. Junior Police Academy

    July 10, 2018, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ City Hall Training Room (use City Hall south entrance, take stairs to the basement. Room is at the bottom of the stairs.)

    Join local police officers and learn what it’s like to work in law enforcement. See all the equipment used by officers, including patrol cars, computers, tasers, and more. Learn what it’s like to go on patrol. Help detectives solve crime using fingerprinting and footprint casting. Learn the importance of saying NO to drugs from a Drug Task Force Officer, join in a foot chase, learn basic defensive tactics and how to deal with bullies. Every student will receive a t-shirt, signed certificate, a CD of the week’s events and will participate in the academy graduation. Snacks will also be provided each day. We ask that if your child has attended this class in previous years that they do not enroll again, in order to provide this opportunity for as many as possible.

    Why not take a swing at summer tennis lessons?! Prerequisite: Willingness to learn and have fun! This program will adapt to each age group and provide a great set of tennis fundamentals taught through a variety of games, relays, and drills. Fee includes T-shirt. Equipment needed: Please bring your own racket if you have one. If you do not have your own racket, we do have a limited supply available for your use at no charge.   5. Beginning Runner's Group

    A FREE running group for learning the basics of training and racing for all levels of runners. We run rain or shine, cold or heat - but we will wait for a storm to pass. All paces welcome, including walkers. If there is lightning, we will not run. Prior to each run, there will be a 10 minute presentation great for those learning the sport. Have fun, meet other runners, and learn the basics of running while preparing for any of the many area races such as the Loop the Lake, Dam to Dam, Living History Farms & more.

    You’re never too young to have fun in the water. Parents will teach their child water orientation and beginning swim skills through games and activities with the aid of the instructor. Parents may also opt to have their 4-5 year old children attend a class without parents. Children must wear swim diapers if not yet toilet trained
