    November 19, 2018, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Council Chambers

    The City Council meeting occurs on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the city hall council chambers. If the third Monday happens to fall on a holiday the meeting is normally moved to Tuesday at the same time and location.

    The Indianola Knights of Columbus will be hosting 3 Fish & Chicken Dinners in November. They are on Friday November 2, 9 & 16. The servings hours are 5:30 to 7:00 PM. The menu consists of: Alaska Pollock (Baked & Deep Fried), Chicken Tenders, Baked Potato, French Fries, Cole Slaw, Fresh Baked Dinner Roll, Coffee & Lemonade. A boy scout troop will host a dessert table.

  7. Youth Basketball League Registration Deadline

    November 16, 2018, All Day

    Adult volunteer coaches will teach basketball skills through practices and games. The program will emphasize participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Whether you are just starting or have played for a few years, there is a place for you on a team. When registering, please include shirt size, accurate height and weight, number of years played, and whether a parent is willing to coach. In an effort to allow coaches and parents to plan ahead and know specifically what nights practices and games will be held, each team’s practice schedule will be assembled by the Parks and Recreation Dept. A practice and game schedule will be sent via email at least one week prior to when practices begin. Please consider the opportunity to positively influence youth at a young age, volunteer coaches are vital to the success of this program! If interested in volunteer coaching, please indicate that when registering. Practices tentatively start week of Jan. 7, with games starting week of Jan. 21.
