    Presented by Community Health Partners Diabetes self-management education is a proven intervention for people with diabetes or pre-diabetes. The American Association of Diabetes Educators supports the use of this 6 week program as a quality, evidence-based curriculum that has been shown to empower individuals to take charge of their diabetes, avoid complications from the disease, and improve self-management skills.

Students use an artistic process that connects personal interests to inspire ideas, develop technical art skills, and empower creativity beyond the classroom. Our big idea this spring is TAKE A CLOSER LOOK! We will be inspired by science and nature. Our art students will observe, explore, and study areas in science and nature through a variety of art projects that bring their ideas to life. Our artwork will help students discover knowledge and appreciation for the natural world with an artistic twist.

  6. Rounded Minds Soccer

    Give your child a giant step ahead in learning with this unique opportunity to move, learn, laugh and play, all while learning a new language. Rounded Minds™ is designed for children to start learning Spanish naturally and effortlessly through language immersion techniques. This high-energy soccer program is led by Coach Raul Cunarro who will introduce children to fundamental soccer skills by using creative games, positive reinforcement, and even songs. Children will learn the basic rules of the game while practicing sportsmanship and teamwork, all while learning basic Spanish. Children should wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Shin guards are also recommended. This class will be held outside on the grass in front of the Activity Center. Please dress for the weather. (No inside classes will be held.)

  8. Beginning Runner's Group

    A FREE running group for learning the basics of training and racing for all levels of runners. We run rain or shine, cold or heat - but we will wait for a storm to pass. All paces welcome, including walkers. If there is lightning, we will not run. Prior to each run, there will be a 10 minute presentation great for those learning the sport. Have fun, meet other runners, and learn the basics of running while preparing for any of the many area races such as the Loop the Lake, Dam to Dam, Living History Farms & more.
