Opened in 2008, this park area includes 22.9 acres donated by the DeNelsky family as a memorial to Minnie DeNelsky.
The area has approximately 9 - 10 acres of woodlands with the remaining in native grasses, flowers and open space. This unique natural area within the city limits provides environmental and wildlife appreciation and education opportunities, in addition to serving as a neighborhood park. A minimum of 70% of the land will be maintained and managed as existing wooded and natural open space area.
