for the des moines challenge DISC GOLF PRO TOURNAMENT

10 spaces with water and electricity (30 amp) are available for self-contained units only (no tents).   Some are shaded.  There are no restrooms, dump station or sewer available.

Daily Fees

The campground is open approximately April 15 - October 15.
Fee is $14 per day, payable by self-registration at the pay post.  
Payment must be made within 60 minutes of arrival, with all information completed on the registration envelope and placed into the fee box.

Reservations

No advance reservations will be made. Camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis.  
The campground may be closed for special events.  
Signs will be posted at least 2 weeks prior to restricted use times.

Length of Stay 

Fourteen days maximum.
May return again in one week.   

Regulations

Speed limit: 10mph
No person shall damage park property.
Quiet must be observed for the benefit of those who retire early. Pets must be kept quiet also.
Only registered campers are permitted in area after 11:00 pm

Restrictions

Self-contained units only. No tents.
Campsites must be kept neat and orderly.
All personal belongings must be stored inside campers or vehicles.
All pets must be kept on a leash no more than 15' long, and waste must be picked up.
Animals shall not make excessive noise, nor cause annoyance to other campers.
Working on vehicles (i.e. mechanical repairs, changing oil, washing) is prohibited.
No fires allowed.
Doormats larger than 2x3 ft. are not allowed.
No dumping gray water on the ground. 

Directions: 

The campground is located in the northeast corner of Pickard Park and has its own entrance located .3 mile east of the main entrance on Hwy 92, then .1 mile south on 24th Street/150th Avenue to 491 S. 24th Street.
