Since the CDC has determined that large events like our annual Children’s Costume Party and Parade are high risk, this year Indianola Parks & Recreation will be holding virtual costume contests instead of our usual festivities on The Square. We’ll miss seeing everyone in person, but hope you’ll send us your photos so we can all enjoy them. You might even win a prize! Categories: Ages 3 & under: cutest or most creative Ages 4-6: scariest or most creative Ages 7-10: scariest or most creative Covid-19: scariest or most creative Best Group Theme Pick a contest category for your costume. Please just one entry per person (except you may also enter as part of a family/group theme) Submit your entry by emailing the participant's full name, age, contest category, phone number and photo to parkrec@indianolaiowa.gov by midnight on Saturday, 10/31.
