Code Enforcement is a service provided by the city to ensure property compliance with City Code and adopted building and maintenance codes. The program works to address neighborhood concerns such as overgrown grass, junk, and abandoned structures.
What does the Code Enforcement Process look like?
When a code violation is known to the City, a Code Enforcement officer will send notice to the property owner of the nuisance/violation and will provide for a date to have the property abated by. If the nuisance is not abated as directed, the City may choose to pursue further action.
