City Clerk's Office

The Clerk's Office provides many functions for the City of Indianola and Indianola Municipal Utilities.

Duties

The City Clerk attends and takes minutes for all City Council and Board of Trustee meetings, publishes agendas and notices as required by the Code of Iowa, maintains official City records (minutes, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, agreements, etc.) and processes certain licenses and permits

The Clerk’s Office administers utility billing, City and IMU payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial operations for the City of Indianola and Indianola Municipal Utilities.
